Updates for coming week!

Dear parents & caregivers,

Thanks for your continuous support in your child's learning journey. Thanks to the parents who sent in their children to school. We had nearly 60% attendance & hoping the numbers will grow this week. We are following the 2.5 lockdown protocols in school and classrooms as well. The students are adapting well to the situations and becoming independent.

Taradale wig day hits close to home - NZ Herald


St Mary MacKillop is proudly supporting Wig Wednesday on 9 September.
Bring a gold coin and wear your most fabulous wig. The bigger the better!!!
We have chosen to support Wig Wednesday because we have a family connection in our school who
has been affected by cancer. Cairo Matisi was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer at 8 months old.

Cullen Matisi is year 3 at our school and is the big brother of Cairo.

All proceeds we collect as a school will go towards the Childs Cancer foundation which will be donated

through Cairo’s page.

Home work week 8!!

Hello parents & caregivers, Thanks for your support in sending your children to school everyday. It's good to see the students actively participating in their learning. We have been exploring new curriculum areas as well. Writing: Explanation writing Maths: Fractions Reading : using Sunshine online  R.E : Holy Spirit -- The Pentecost Please see that your child comes home and shares his/her learning with you. From this week  A1 students will be using devices in class and learning using Google class room. They are very excited and so am I. Can you please send in their google passwords long with them so it will be easy to get into straight away{ this message is for the students who were already using google class during lockdown} Thanks again for your support by sending in a can of food to reach out and help the people in our community during these difficult times. Updates for the coming week!!

Hello parents & caregivers, Hope you all are doing well in your bubbles. As you all know that School reopens for Term 2 on the 15th of April that is Wednesday through online learning.  I have already sent in your student email mail with the password. Please can you log in so you will be able to access google classroom. Let me know if you need any help.
