Week 5 Samoan Language Week

Dear parents & caregivers, 

A Pod Speech Competitions are in Week 9. So please get your children ready with a speech in your language as well as in English. They can learn a prayer or something they will feel comfortable to speak for 2 mins. I have asked that everyone in the class participates in the Speech Competition. Please talk to your children in your language as this will be a good practice for them to be confident.

On Monday the students need to come to school in their cultural attire as it's Samoan Language Week. All through the week A1 students will be learning about Samoa and simple everyday Samoan phrases.

This Friday the 29th is A & D Pod Syndicate Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 9.15 a.m. Please send a can of food for the less fortunate in our community.
