Homework week 12 !

Hello parents & caregivers,

Thanks once again for your support in your child's learning journey. Learning in A1 class has been going well. Students are enjoying their learning and also love that they are been challenged. 

For the past two weeks the students are being tested to check for their reading levels. It's a must that students read every single night as this helps them with their writing as well. 

This week is Writing testing. The writing genre is Narrative Writing. Please let them practice at home so they are ready for test.

Every Friday students have Basic Facts testing. Please help them to learn their basic facts so they are confident with their testing. The Data is collected weekly to see their progress.  If you have any questions please do comment in the class blog.

As you know that it's Matariki. Maori New Year

Students have been learning about Matariki and why it's celebrated? 

On Wednesday they came home with a  Chart Paper for their Matariki Project. Please help your child with the project as they will be able to tell you all the facts about Matariki. Some ideas  what needs to go in the project. It's due by Tuesday.

Hello A1 Students, I hope you are all doing good in your own bubble by God's Grace. Please continue your prayers at home as we usually do during our class prayers. Home work week 8!!

Hello parents & caregivers, Thanks for your support in sending your children to school everyday. It's good to see the students actively participating in their learning. We have been exploring new curriculum areas as well. Writing: Explanation writing Maths: Fractions Reading : using Sunshine online  R.E : Holy Spirit -- The Pentecost Please see that your child comes home and shares his/her learning with you. From this week  A1 students will be using devices in class and learning using Google class room. They are very excited and so am I. Can you please send in their google passwords long with them so it will be easy to get into straight away{ this message is for the students who were already using google class during lockdown} Thanks again for your support by sending in a can of food to reach out and help the people in our community during these difficult times. Hello parents & caregivers, Hope you all are doing well in your bubbles. As you all know that School reopens for Term 2 on the 15th of April that is Wednesday through online learning.  I have already sent in your student email mail with the password.
