Homework Week 7!!

Dear parents & caregivers,

Sharing updates for Week 7: 

Monday the 9th is our whole school photographs. It's 20 years since our school started.  Please send in your child with the right school uniform and looking for 100% attendance.  This Friday the 13th is A & D Pod Syndicate Mass. The Mass will be celebrated in the Whernui at 9.15 a.m. Please come and support us.

Your child came home with an A3 chart paper. This is for their homework.

Sharing a few pics about Bat first Cricket:

It was an exciting day for the students. They all got a Cricket pack to keep all themselves. Thanks to Bat first Cricket and Mr W{ Peter}












DAILY FIVE: In A 1 &  we have started Daily Five. This is an approach in which the student does independent learning during Literacy time. There will be 5 activities to choose from. They have to do all the five activities. It revolves around Reading, Word Work & Writing. The students are enjoying exploring this new approach to learning. They have to give me evidence that they have covered all the 5 activities. The teacher will work with groups as well and keep help then when they need help. Our big focus is to enable them to be " Independent Learners" who will chose their own learning goals and be confident to try something new by making mistakes.

Please encourage your child at home as well.










If you should have any questions about Daily Five you please don't hesitate to come in to A1 class and you could see your children in action as well. 

A1 are hard working  SuperLearners.

Dear Parents & caregivers, I would like to thank each one of you for your continuous support with your child's online learning.  I think the students are getting the hang of working on this new platform. I would like to congratulate A1 Superheroes for working hard and adapting to the situation. I would have liked to have more attendance for Google class meet times. The students who attended these sessions enjoyed their time online and talking to one another. Updates for the coming week:  Today is ANZAC DAY. I have posted some assignment on Google Classroom. Thursday Learning!!

       Today is Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday. Today starts the Paschal Triduum. Three Most Holy days in the Catholic Liturgical Calendar. On this very day Jesus Instituted the Sacrament  of the Holy Eucharist by giving his Body and Blood as a Ransom for our Salvation. Science fair Week 6

Dear parents & caregivers, Thanks for your continuous support in your child's learning journey.  Huge thanks to all the parents who came along to support our PELP FONO. It was great to see parents involved with the facilitators. Sharing some pics from the FONO.  Trip to the Botanical Gardens in spite of bad weather conditions was a successful one. The students throughly enjoyed  and learnt a great deal. Thanks be to God for keeping us safe and bringing us back safe. Thanks to the parents who came along as parents help. The trip was a huge success. Here are  some pics from the visit to the gardens. A1 students were very excited to see the swan plant at the gardens.
