Back to school !!

Dear Parents & caregivers, It's back to school on the 31st of August as per government regulations. We will be operating under 2.5 Level restrictions. As per the requirements each student needs to carry their personal drink bottles as the water fountains at school will not be accessible. If you think your child needs a mask they can wear one as long as they know how to keep it safe. If you think your child is unwell please do keep them at home un till they feel better.  Let's pray & hope that thinks will return back to normal soon. Kia ora koutou, It was a big relief to hear we are moving back to Alert Level 2 at the beginning of next week. We look forward to welcoming all our students and staff back onsite at that time! Learning packs!!!

Online Learning Updates!!!

Hello parents & caregivers, Hope you & your family members are safe by God's grace. Please stay home & be safe. Start online classes from Monday . I will be uploading work on Google classroom. If you can't access Google classroom I will upload some work on the Class Blog as well. There will be Google meet sessions as well. I will be in sending the invites for the class meets within their groups. For Reading I will be sharing Sunshine online details as well. It is very important that students read every night as this will enable them with their writing and increase their reading milage and confidence. Please do feel free to comment or send me a message if there should be any help needed. Check google classroom for more learning updates. Hello parents & caregivers, This Friday is CANS FOR CHRISTMAS - Mufti Day: Winter Onesies. Please send in a can of food with your child. These cans will be given to less fortunate people in our community during Christmas time. Thanks for your help. This Friday is Whole School Assembly. A1 class will be leading the Assembly. Please do come and support your child as they will be performing some Bollywood dances.  Costume :   Girls  Long skirt or a skirt with a colourful top. Please send it by Thursday so we will be ready for the Assembly. Boys:  Red t-shirt , Jean pant & a hat. Dear parents & caregivers, I would like to thank all my parents for helping A1 achieve 100% for the SLC's. I believe you must be really proud of your child's achievements. It was a pleasure to see students sharing learning with their parents. Thanks again for your support in their learning journey. 8th August is our Patron St. Mary Mackillop's Feast Day. As a school we celebrated on the Friday the 7th of August. Will be sharing the day in action soon. Homework: Spelling words: Each group has a reading book. Find tricky words and learn the spelling from your text.  L.I IALT ask questions after reading my text. Writing: Write your experiences about the SLC. Math: L. Please collect your children early and so you can come on time for your Student Led Conferences.
