Kite flying !!

A1 students are learning about Matariki and the importance of its celebration. A1 students enjoyed flying kites in the afternoon on Friday. Sharing a few pictures with you all. Thank you Mrs. Letoa for helping us with the kites. We really appreciate your hard work.

Homework week 12 !

Hello parents & caregivers, Thanks once again for your support in your child's learning journey. Learning in A1 class has been going well. Students are enjoying their learning and also love that they are been challenged.  For the past two weeks the students are being tested to check for their reading levels. It's a must that students read every single night as this helps them with their writing as well.  This week is Writing testing. The writing genre is Narrative Writing. Please let them practice at home so they are ready for test. Every Friday students have Basic Facts testing. Please help them to learn their basic facts so they are confident with their testing. The Data is collected weekly to see their progress.  If you have any questions please do comment in the class blog. As you know that it's Matariki. Homework week 11

Dear parents & caregivers, Thank you for coming along to support your child for the Liturgy on Friday. It was a meaningful Liturgy and the students did an awesome job.  Homework: Reading : All of them have a reading book.They should be reading every single night. Please see that your child takes advantage of  reading online from Sunshine online.  Writing: L.I WALT write an Explanation. Topic: Most people have a favourite food. Write to explain if your favourite food is sweet or spicy. Maths: Basic facts Build 10 & 20   Skip count in 2, 5 & 10 Time tables 2 & 3

Friday Liturgy!!

Hello parents & caregivers, This Friday the 19th of June is the Feast of the Sacred Heart Of Jesus. A Pod is leading the Whole School Liturgy. The Liturgy will start at 9 in the morning. A1 students are also performing a Liturgical dance.  I have asked the girls to come dressed in white long dress and the boys white T-shirt and white shorts or pants. You are welcome to come and join us for the Liturgy. Your presence will be appreciated. Thanks

Hello parents & caregivers, Thanks for your continuous support with your child's learning journey. I would like to congratulate A1 students for their dedication towards Homework. About 70%  students submitted their homework.  Writing: L.I WALT write an Explanation. People do all kinds of jobs. Explain what kind of job you would like do when you grow big.  Maths: Learn your timetable for 2 & 3 Reading: Please use Sunshine online and read. Chose the level you are at.

HomeWork Week 9!!

Dear parents & caregivers, Thanks again for your support in your child's learning journey.  It's very important that the students read every single night. Please use Sunshine online and choose a book from the level they are reading at.  Not many students are doing their home work regularly. It's a must that they do their homework as this helps them with their learning. I have asked my students to submit their homework by  Friday. We have started using devices in class for learning. You can keep a track and see what they have worked in class.  Please send in the google password so they can log into their account. HOMEWORK: Writing: L.I WALT write an Explanation.
