Week 5 Samoan Language Week

Dear parents & caregivers,  A Pod Speech Competitions are in Week 9. So please get your children ready with a speech in your language as well as in English. They can learn a prayer or something they will feel comfortable to speak for 2 mins. I have asked that everyone in the class participates in the Speech Competition. Please talk to your children in your language as this will be a good practice for them to be confident. On Monday the students need to come to school in their cultural attire as it's Samoan Language Week. All through the week A1 students will be learning about Samoa and simple everyday Samoan phrases. This Friday the 29th is A & D Pod Syndicate Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 9.15 a.m. Please send a can of food for the less fortunate in our community. Hello parents & caregivers, This Thursday was A1's first swimming session. Well done to those students who came well prepared for swimming lessons.  I would encourage everyone in the class to take advantage of these swimming sessions. It's swimming time!!

Hello parents & caregivers, It's  A1's swimming time tomorrow. The students will have their first swimming session in the afternoon just after lunch. Please send your child with all the items needed for swimming in a bag with their names on it.  The girls need to have a swimming cap for swimming.  Students are really looking forward to swim along with the swimming instructors.                   On Friday is Pink Day , let's create awareness to stop Bullying.
